I was suggested by the Airtle Representative in the Airtel Showroom in Salem that I could benefit by subscribing for a Bundled Family Pack where I get 3 SIM cards, 1 Data Card and 1 DTH all in one and amount would be Rs2000 per month. I agreed to the plan and subscribed to it for my Wife and 2 Kids. All the SIMS were activated on the same day.
After a couple months I found that it was not useful as the Datacard had limited data which was not suitable for our monthly usage and had to take a Booster Pack for Rs500 for one month. Since this was not convenient I had requested that the entire Family Pack be terminated. Airtel did not and when we went to the showroom requesting them that they terminate the Family Pack again. They agreed to terminate the Family Pack but they did not terminate all the same day. They kept giving excuses and terminated one SIM after the other so I had to pay on prorata basis. This is like stealing money in guise of Procedural lapses. 3 of my 4 SIMs have been only terminated while the 4th for the Data Card was not terminated. Now I have not been using the DATA card as I bought an Airtel Router Fiber connection. But yet Airtel, who did not terminate my Data Card and failed to notify me about the same is now asking me to pay approximately Rs 550 for Booster that I had availed for month as the data had exhausted. They continued to charge me for the booster when they do NOT mention anywhere that the Booster will be continued to be charged until the Customer asks to terminate.
Now I have a DAta Plan and why would go for a Booster of Rs500 every month when I can go for the Next higher plan for addition of a few 100 rupees instead of the BOOSTER.
This is cheating.
Now they refuse to terminate the Data connection, they want me to pay for the Booster Pack, approximately Rs 550 when I havent used the Datacard as I was under the impression that the Datacard has been terminated along with my other 3 SIMs
