My Airtel mobile phone number , used for personal use is being breached/hacked and unsolicitedly shared between 3rd parties
People are going into any random Airtel service centre or Sim card shop and asking sales executives to share information with a specific phone number – such as call logs , data usage history, browsing history, app usage history etc and even intercepting phone calls – All this is happening by them saying that they are customer’s “parents”
This woman reaches the airtel service centre and asks the sales executive to share information and call logs of this number (x) because she says, “this is my daughter’s number I am after all her mother so I deserve to know and I have the right to know what she is upto.” – Please tell me if it really has come down to being this easy to obtain anybody’s personal data.
I don’t care if you really are someone’s mother ,you don’t have the right to their call logs and personal data without THEIR permission.
