I had taken a loan from Bharat Loan of ₹74,000 (disbursed ₹65,268 after deduction) on 30 July. The repayment amount being demanded is ₹1,08,780 today on 10th september, which is extremely high and unfair.
13.38% of the disbursed amount was taken as a processing fee or upfront charge.
Repayment amount is 66.71% more than what I actually received.
I tried to repay early but their app had no option, and customer care claimed technical issues. Later, I started getting multiple threatening calls, harassment through repeated messages, and a field visit was made to my home.
Despite explaining that I’m not refusing to pay and have also contacted the RBI, they continue threatening to contact my workplace and family, which is causing mental distress.
I request urgent action and strict notice to stop such recovery practices. I also seek help to reschedule the repayment in a legal and humane way.
