Awww gifts is an Instagram and WhatsApp based business account which markets 3d replica gifts. I have ordered a trio replica gift and paid rs. 1630 via paytm to the QR code shared by the business person claimed to be Shivani. The payment was done to dbs bank with the bank holder name being Eada Jeevan Yadhidya. I was promised about the delivery of product by 28th august 2023. I’ve messaged them regarding the updates on the order and shipment on 21st August 2023. Since then they are ignoring my calls and messages , while they are still actively responding and trapping others who are messaging them through new numbers( I have checked with another number if they are responding to new numbers and they were). In order to check for alternate contact numbers I’ve searched their business online, I’ve found complaints against the same page and business on the consumer complaint forum. I have realised that I have been scammed by them and I have raised a complaint with the cyber crime department.
I request the consumer forum to take strict action against the people behind the scam and make them refund the lost amount.
