Hi Team,
This is Sudhanshu Lal writing this email on behalf of my brother Himanshu Lal. We took a gold loan in against of 20-21 gram ornament last year which can be tracked using this pledge ID – 0125550700012710.
On 02/09/2022, when my mother (Anita Lal) went to Allahabad to pay the amount and pick all the jewellries, there she came to know that all have already auctioned one day before, on 01/09/2022 and that was really shocking!
Since I am relocated to Pune 5 years ago so my mother also got her transfer here. My brother Himanshu Lal is also residing in Lucknow. Hence, nobody resides at our residence in Allahabad. We do not know when any notice been sent to our address. Secondly, my brother also did not get any intimation calls regarding this.
If my brother’s number was unreachable then atleast the team should have tried calling my mother’s number as they did in the month of Feb, 2022. That time, I only paid ₹12,500 as interest. So, why my mother did not get any call from Manappuram before taking this big decision of auction?
I am attaching some screenshots which can confirm that I got contacted in the month of Feb,22 to make interest payment, then why not this time?
This is totally an incorrect decision by the Manappuram team and I would like to take further action if this will not get addressed internally. Either I want that much gold or cash as per the current market value, otherwise I will knock the door of consumer forum.
Looking forward to getting this done asap.
