Dear sir/Madam,
When I was using instagram, I came across a app called safe money buddy loan app to apply for loan. I have installed that app and provided the information they have requested like my selfie picture, my reference contact number, pan card etc. Finally it has been mentioned that I am eligible for Rs.9000. without my confirmation or permission, they told that loan is approved and credited Rs.5400 in my account yesterday (20.5.23) morning and asking me to repay Rs.9000 on or before 26.5.23. After that I tried customer care to tell them that I don’t need loan and take their money back. But I couldn’t reach anyone. When I felt it was suspicious and googled about the app and I came to know that it is a online loan harassment app and many people gave reviews that they will give mental torture from day 6 and will share unwanted photos and messages to all contacts. The same has also been insisted in news channels also. I am really so scared now on what they are going to do. Kindly help me in how come out of this situation. I am working in a private company as project engineer. If any unwanted messages are spread, it will become big problem in my carreer and personal life. Kindly request you to help me and advise how to come out of this. I have already uninstalled the app and denied permission. If already contact details are taken, don’t know what to do. They have my pan card image also with them. Many affected people have told that even if we repay, they will call from different foreign numbers and ask to pay more. What should I do now? Kindly take action against them and guide me further
