Some days ago I got a WhatsApp message saying are you interested in work from home, and I said yes. I am student and I don’t have any part-time job or anything. So I thought it will be a good opportunity. They were so convincing about their procedures.
So I completed the registration. They told me I have to pay a one time fee of 7079 after 7 days. They told me that I can earn it from online working. I tried a day and I informed them that I am not continuing. So I requested for cancellation. They told me to send an email to the company. And I send an email requesting cancellation of my registration.
Today I got a call from surat, gujarat, an Akash Sing, who is going to file a consumer complaint against me. If I want to avoid that, I have to pay the fee they asked. So I told them about the cancellation, then they said the company doesn’t acknowledge any cancellation request, and as per the affidavit I signed, they don’t have to accept the cancellation.
I asked my friends about this. They told me it could be fraud. So I didn’t pay any money. I don’t know what to do. But I am not paying.
