I had booked for general service of aquaguard purifier “Forbes crystal” yesterday on July 10th with service request no. 2013072057. I had clearly mentioned that I want filters to be changed while booking the service. The technician came the next day and said that he doesn’t have filters for my model as they have stopped manufacturing it. He insisted that I pay the service charges of 425/- for not doing anything. The customer care had all the details updated in the database still why they they sentd technician without spares. This is cheating customers and day light robbery. I contacted their customer care helpline and spoke to Shweta and she had no solution to this and told me that her manager would get in touch with me. But nobody from the higher management has contacted me. I had to pay the service charges just to make the technician leave my house. I want to take this matter to the Consumer Court so that they stop cheating other people like me.
