I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Tata Sky for providing the “absolute WORST & APPALLING” level of services that one can ever imagine! My subscriber ID is 1000692499 and I have 4 (FOUR) HD connections at my home. I have been calling your customer care since June 29th Saturday at 5 PM with a problem regarding Package Modification. Here is sequence of events:
1. On 29th June around 4:30 PM, I tried to modify the package (English Sports Premium HD) on my primary box and tried to change it for all my TVs by choosing Broadcaster packs. No sooner had I done that all of a sudden, one box stopped showing the paid channels. I tried to modify the package again but it wouldn’t let me do it.
2. I then tried to drop the package on primary and all other boxes, but my account on the website and phone app still continued to show error messages – Technical Error. Please contact Tata Sky.
3. This is when my ordeal started – I started calling Tata Sky Customer Care (“CC’) and they began with the usual process – please do this, please do that, please do this, please do that! Despite doing everything they said, nothing happened. They said we will arrange to have it resolved. I spoke with the CC again at least 10 time till late midnight and they kept on saying it will be resolved – but it didnt!
4. On Sunday, again I called CC in the morning and they said they will arrange a technician visit(??) I said it didn’t appear to be a set top box issue but they insisted. Same evening after following up 3 times more, the technician came and checked everything and said there is nothing wrong with the 4 HD boxes. I again called up CC and started to chase those guys who just wouldn’t use their brains to understand that the problem WASN’T IN THE BOX!!
5. I again started to chase CC and called multiple times and they again sent another technician home!!!! That technician – the good helpful person he was – called up CC again from my house “CLARIFYING THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG IN THE SET TOP BOXES”. HE TOLD CC CLEARLY THAT THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE BACKEND. I also spoke with them suggesting that there may be some internal server issue, some technical issue, some IT issue related to my account. I requested them to please do something by either doing a refresh or hard reboot of my account or system but they kept on insisting that they will look into and please be patient for another 24 hours!
6. I again started calling CC and asking for an update and every single time I kept getting the same answer. We are looking into it. Please do this, please do that, please do this!!
It’s now been almost 5 DAYS THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WATCH ANY CHANNEL OR MODIFY OR ADD or DROP ANY PACAKAGE FROM MY END – whether through the website or phone APP.
Request an early redressel of this problem. I want entire refund of my money immediately if Tatasky is not able to resolve this by tomorrow
