On 10/06/23, to pay my Vodafone post paid bill I used the Cred app. This app can be used to pay for utilities and other bills under one single platform similar to Paytm. The transaction was of the amount Rs 3898.72/-. To make the payment I used my SBi Credit Card. The amount got charged to my credit card but it never got credit to my Vodafone mobile no. So again I had to make the payment to Vodafone to settle my bill using another payment service. I immediately informed CRED aka Dreamplug Technolgies about the same. They told me that the transaction is still under processing status with order ID VDZR8W2LNRXY and asked me to wait for a few days. Even after few days when the transaction was still showing processing at their end they asked me to share the credit cards statement to confirm that my SBI has charged it to my credit card. I have shared them the statement. Then CRED informed me that they have not received any payment with order ID VDZR8W2LNRXY and requested me to check with the respective bank because they are in a better position to locate the funds. On following up with SBI Credit card division they confirm that amount Rs 3898.72 has been credited to Dreamplug Technologies. So, I followed up with Cred for the same since then. Then they asked me to get UTR details for the transaction from my credit card bank. SBI provided me with Transaction reference number along with auth code.
Transactions reference number : 1206202317294803566 and Auth Code is 097161.
Now Dreamplug technology replies back saying that they are unable to verify them as the provided number is not the unique transaction number. On the other hand SBI bank says Transaction reference number is UTR no. Seems like Dreamplug Technology is not wiling to resolve the matter and refund the amount that have been charged to my credit card on 10/06/23 for services that they have no provided.
