This is to Highlight a serious issue is common in Airtel now and we been cheated by calling customer care again and again.
I made a recharge of Rs 119 for Airtel No 9973707311 by using my Airtel App(9801838941) on 1st April 2019 at 12:16 Pm. I got transaction successful pop up in my Airtel App and at the same time amount was debited from my SBI account as I used net-banking.
Now since my amount is debited but recharge was not successful, I called airtel customer care on 1st April around 4-5 pm and my call was transferred to a senior executive, Since She was not able to give my resolution so i requested her to escalate to next level . I was on long hold then she told me that her seniors are busy so i will refund Rs 110 to Main account balance but I denied to accept as it was a plan and I cant use that amount to recharge that Plan on my Airtel number. At last she told me to wait for a call back within 1 hour.
Unfortunately when I didn’t received any call back for next 26 hours I called customer care again on 2nd April around 3 pm but I was shocked as no complaint has been taken by previous Agent/Supervisor. So again I explained the same issues and requested for escalating the senior, Now that senior asked me to wait for a call back after long hold ithing 2 minutes.. no call received yet. So called again around 7:45 Pm and Spoked to Chanderkant. he asked me to provide Transaction id which they don’t provide so how can I get my money back and who is responsible for wasting customer time and mentally harassing them . Please do the needful.. My screenshot of balance deduction is attached
