I bought a GoPro hero 9 off the Amazon website with a couple other things, an accessory kit for the GoPro and i bought some iPhone stands. It was suppose to be next day shipping. Next day I receive a code to provide to the deliverer but the projected time of delivery (9am – 3pm) passes by and I receive an email saying that my package is delayed and would be delivered possibly the next day. So I go about my evening and at 8pm I receive a phone call from the delivery guy saying he’s there and he needs my code to leave the package. So I give him the code and he leaves the package. I receive an email that says “package given to the resident” and no picture (as Ive noticed they typically do when delivery leaves the package at the door). When I arrive home a Amazon bag is there at the door and it is untampered with but when we open it the GoPro Hero 9 is not in the package($229). I immediately call the customer service and tell them it was never delivered but they tell me I have to make a police report. They say that it shows as delivered on their side but I explain when this package was delivered to me the Gopro hero 9 was never inside of it. It’s obvious someone at their shipping center never placed it in the package to get shipped. I checked our residence recording to see if any third party approached my door and somehow magically removed the GoPro. All I saw was the delivery driver take it to my door call and leave it at my door. I made the police report explaining what happened and am awaiting approval but the department said they are backed up so I have to wait but I only have 1 month to provide the approved police report to Amazon to somehow get a refund. First off, its obvious that no one stole the package from my front door as Amazon is trying to insinuate, but they refuse to admit that they have workers that steal packages and have not created a system to prevent their own workers from stealing customers purchases and Amazon gets to pocket the money. Also the email saying the package was delayed disappeared from my inbox. Amazon is up to some very crooked stuff and there is no way to contact anyone. If you ask for a supervisor or another department they refuse.
