Hi Team,
Amazon has been harassing me for refund for several months now. They have promised me on the refund, and now coming up with new excuses and continue to delay it for months.
Details:
- We had placed an order for a 7X10 feet rug on Mar 1st, which came in a different color from what we had ordered, basis which we had requested for return
- We placed the refund request immediately within the refund policy
- The seller did not come to pick it up pre and post Covid
- Amazon said the policy mentioned on website is incorrect and a fault at their end and we will have to courier the rug at our own – which was a huge hassle at our end in sending a 7×10 feet rug
- We mentioned to Amazon that we do not trust the seller, and Amazon promised that the refund will happen – I have email proof
- The rug was sent and the seller started acting out and did not accept the rug (as expected) – I have the call recording with the courier agency (DTDC)
- As per Amazon promises of refund on email, we filed the A-Z guarantee claim
- The refund has been denied supposedly even when we have done everything that was needed – we as customer went way beyond than what was needed (sending the rug on our own which was not mentioned in their return policy)
I need to end this continuous back and forth with Amazon and both Amazon and the seller should face the consequences of cheating and harassing the customer for ~6 months now.
