Text of Complaint by Yaswanth Kothapalli:

I order this fan “Usha Mist Air Icy 400mm Pedestal Fan (Blue)” to my native place and May 29th,2023, and on June 5th the Amazon app said it is delivered. In actuality, the product is not delivered.
I logged a complaint on 6th June and the customer care person says to wait for 2 days more as sometimes the product can be delayed. I waited and the product did not come. I called them again on June 11th and they have taken a complaint and escalation and said it will take 4 days and will reach out back.

Post this, I got a call from local seller/vendor saying that the delivery person has missed the product and asked me to click “refund” from the amazon app. I said NO as the product delivery is missed by you and I won’t do that action. The person said that the delivery person missed it and insisted me to click the ‘Refund’ button and he is not saying his name nor nothing – it was a call from the unknown person.

Immediately, I raised a chat support case with the Amazon support and shared all this feedback and even then they said – I do not need to do any action from my end and asked to reach out on 17th June.

Today I followed up the case and they said that their escalation team has confirmed that product is delivered and they cannot initiate the refund. How should I prove that product is NOT delivered ? There was no message nor the OTP received nor the call received and literally from this number: +918919749857 , I received the call and said to click the ‘Refund’ button who is not sharing his name too. How can I trust a person who is not from Amazon and follow what he is asking to do.

Today I lost my 2750 INR money and also the product is not delivered. I have been a very long customer of Amazon and this is my first-time experience where they did not deliver the product and not refunding the amount. I don’t even know where to reach out or whom to complain.
