I am having multiple concerns for the items purchased on Amazon in recent times.
I know it will be hard to read through the below details, it was even harder when i typed this.
I want the proper response hence i am raising my concern here..
I got frustrated and annoyed with the follow-ups, product quality and the delivery…
I placed an order for bosch washing machine on Aug 05, 2020 in exchange of my old washing machine.
The product was delivered the very next day and the old washing machine was taken by Amazon.
When i tried to open that package, I found the washing machine full of dirt and water drops in the detergent tray..
Concluding that the used product was delivered to me with worst packing ever.
The washing machine was wrapped with local shop cover and not even with the bosch company cover.
I called amazon support 3 times to take that defective product back and arrange for replacement.
The Amazon support told that the same seller doesn’t have stock for the replacement.
Then I ordered the same product with different seller.
The delivery date mentioned was 21st August,2020 which was 16 days from the date of order placed.
I called Amazon support multiple times insisting for the proper product without any defects and safe delivery.
Everytime i heard was the convincing words and i am not sure if it was taken as an action item.
I was literally spending an hour washing the clothes everyday and following up with Amazon support(chat, email, call) for an hour everyday.
The order had no status till 16th Aug, 2020. On 19th August, 2020 this product was out for delivery.
That delivery guy called me saying that he was aloan and there was no man power to help.
Still he confirmed at any cost it will be delivered on the same day by EOD.
I waited from morning till night without going out, had multiple follow-ups with the customer service. Got multiple answers from them.
Then at 9 PM, the status was changed like “Delay Delivery on customer request”, which makes no sense to me.
The delivery agent wants to blame the customer for his mistake.
The next day(20th August, 2020) I called that delivery agent, he told me that he has a shortage of manpower and is not able to deliver to the doorstep rather he can deliver on the road and go.
I live on the first floor and how can you expect the customer to arrange for man power to take it upstairs?
Why can’t amazon check whether the delivery agent is capable of handling and delivering large appliances??
The product was marked “Out for Delivery” in the morning.
The similar thing happened at end of that day, the status was changed to “Delay Delivery on customer request”
I had multiple followups with Amazon support again, everyone ensured the product will be safely delivered within the mentioned date(21st August, 2020).
The last day(21st August, 2020) came. The product was marked “Out for Delivery” in morning. Had last hope that it will be delivered.
I was waiting for the whole day, as expected it was not delivered.
Status was updated like “Parcel held by carrier as as front door / driveway was not accessible. Please contact Amazon for delivery instructions.”
Mentioned “Returning to seller”
What did i do wrong rather having a purchase from Amazon.?
1. Delivered defective product in first order
2. Taken my old washing machine for exchange – Due to this, I am left without a washing machine for more than 17 days now
3. The delivery guy is blaming customers and returning the product back to seller
I have been through a lot of pain and stress, making followups multiple times. Everything went in vain and ended up with these results.
How is Amazon going to compensate for all such pain and stress caused on these two orders. Order # for reference
