Text of Complaint by Sharath Sudheer:

ORDER # 403-5666029-7369114

1) I purchased a mobile in Amazon during Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale(Aug 6th to Aug 10th 2022). That was the time when I got some discount on MRP. I have availed exchange policy too.

2) During the day of delivery(Aug 14th Sun), delivery boy mentioned that he cannot deliver my order as he has lot of orders to deliver and he inadvertently cancelled my order. He has cancelled my order without my consent. He made a false promise that he will deliver the same item on Aug 15th but after the call he cancelled.

3) On the same day, I contacted Amazon customer care and said about the incident. One of their members of the escalation team on call which is on record that it was the mistake of delivery boy and re-attempt cannot be made and refund will be initiated. Even giving me free advice to reorder the same.

I requested them to compensate me which they told cannot be done in any way as there was no process to do so.

One of their escalation team members even hung up on me but the second time I called, one of the members of the escalation team gave an alternate solution of adding back the discount to Amazon Pay if I ordered the same item and did not return for 7 days.

4) I purchased the item during Amazon Great Freedom Festival sale for discount. Now if I purchase, I have to pay extra money for the same as discount period is over. For no fault of me, my order got cancelled without my consent. When I am asking for proper justification for cancellation, amazon customer care executives says that it was the mistake of delivery boy and exchange verification failed. How can verification fail if the exchange item was never picked up?
When I was asking for justification for cancellation, customer care executives have disconnected my call.

5) I felt cheated and mentally tortured with their false commitments. I want my mobile phone to get delivered at the same amount when I purchased during Discount period.
