I have been a prime member of Amazon, in my recent order, I returned 3 items one month before and have not yet received my refund.

It is taking too long without any reason.
On top of that, the customer care of Amazon is unable to guide me in this matter. As per them the refund was initiated via 3 different cheques and no one knows when i should get it.
First, I do not understand why cheques were issued instead of online funds transfers, which Amazon had done many times in the past.
This is so ironic it is that at the time of shopping i paid all in advance but now i am waiting like stupid for my own money to return.
Customer care officers are clueless. Every time i call, they advise me to call them back after 10-15 days.
I am taking this matter further because I need assistance here.
Please help me.
