I purchased an item(Ear Buds) from Amazon, and returned it. Amazon sent delivery person for pick up. As per Amazon policy, they do not issue return receipt for successful pickups but they showed successful pickup in the App. Customer is not protected against thieves. He picked up the item, stole and and replaced it with some other. Now Amazon wont refund and wont share details of the delivery person to file police complaint. They wont even reply. They expect to send complete strangers to a customer’s house, expect customer to return item with no proof, someone just pockets the hard earned money and Amazon wont help. Its cheating by the company supporting the thieving delivery agent.
