I ordered several items on Amazon and everytime I added special instructions to deliver to my front door and not apartment hub due to “medical reasons”. When it was NOT delivered to my front door, I contacted customer service 3-4 times over chat and phone to deliver as per instructions since I can’t go and pick up from hub which is not close and don’t have proper means to carry packages myself. They always assured me that it will be delivered at the front door but the driver still left those orders in the hub. I was asked to issue return for all orders if I cannot pickup or else if I really do want my orders I was asked and forced to pick up myself!!! When I forcefully went to pick the package one by one, amazon opened all 4 lockers with just the first scan code even though i had 4 different codes for all. As a result I had big packages neither delivered to front door as requested and begged so many times nor any way to collect one by one. Since I am new to states with no car, I had to literally drag all the packages myself till my apartment. This new hub system is mismanaged and mishandled causi emotional and physical torture to elderly and disabled people. It should be meant to be used if requested and not forced to go and pick home deliveries from the hub all the time even after making several requests!!!! It’s just a business with no concern/resolution for people’s inconvenience it’s causing. I see so many older posts with similar issues since this system came into effect still no steps have been taken by the company. Its just billing us membership fee and still causing problems.
