Bought an item on Amazon. Was sent the wrong item. I didn’t even open the box. Just took pictures and notified Amazon. They said i would have to notify the seller first to try to settle things. So I did. The seller never sent a response, so I notified Amazon again. They notified the seller who then sent me a message saying Amazon sent them an invoice with the wrong part# on it? I sent the seller screenshots of my order. My order and what he sent me were completely different sizes and prices. He again didn’t respond. The thing is it’s an item no one has been able to get since the beginning of Covid? So I thought it was to good to be true. And I was right. I then notified Amazon and they arranged a return. Except I had to pay 200 dollars in shipping!! Then when he issued my refund he was 308.00 short! “Restocking” fee. So I have been back and forth with Amazon over this issue for over a month. Jumping through one hoop after another, and finally yesterday was told by Amazon there was nothing they could do? So I bought something I didn’t get on amazon. Got charged 500 dollars total for it, even though I don’t have it, and there is nothing they can do? I have literally spent tens of thousands of dollars on Amazon and this is how they pay me back? Well I’m not letting this go. I’m tired of companies like this that just rip people off and think they can get away with it.
