I am writing this complaint to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Airtel. I had recharged my number 9008818183 for a global pack worth 2998₹ on 25th March 2023 with reference ID 7045451091003088896. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to request a refund and approached Airtel shop in Bangalore Jayanagar 3rd block. The representative there misguided me by stating that I could expect a refund within 10 days.
When I didn’t receive any response from Airtel, I followed up through email to the Airtel escalations team at 121@in.Airtel.in. However, even after a month, I received no response from the team. This forced me to call Airtel customer service to enquire about the refund status, only to be informed that they would not process a refund.
The customer care representative, Mohammad Yasin, was extremely rude and showed no empathy or willingness to help. This was disappointing, especially since I had followed all the necessary procedures and guidelines. I am appalled by the poor customer service I received and the misleading information given by the Airtel shop representative.
As a loyal customer of Airtel, I expect better treatment and resolution to my issue. All I want is my money back as I did not receive any service for the payment I made. I urge Airtel to take this matter seriously and refund my amount at the earliest.
