Text of Complaint by Debanjali:

26th Aug’21- Request given to Airtel customer care for shifting Broadband connection to new address in the same locality (with same PIN code). Advance rental already paid for Sep’21 month. Confirmed of receiving call within 24 hrs (Request No# 136172348)

27th Aug’21- No calls received from technical team. Called again, assured of getting call within next 24 hrs.

28th Aug’21- Shifting NOT done hence called the Airtel Customer care again. Assured of getting a call within 4 hrs. Received a call & assured of shifting within a day.

29th Aug’21- Shifting of address of Broadband connection NOT done even after 48hrs of raising request.

29th Aug’21- No communication or shifting done.

30th Aug’21- No communication or shifting done

31st Aug’21- No communication or development or shifting done till 11:00AM. Called Customer Care again. Same set of instructions & protocol being followed that the technical team will call within 4 hrs & shifting will be done by today (interaction# 1153278618). Complaint escalated to (appellate.west@in.airtel.com) for getting faster resolution.

1st Sep’21- Mail received from (appellate.west@in.airtel.com) informing that Airtel team is working on the request on priority & will provide updated status within 24-48 hrs. (This assurance given again after more than 100 hrs of giving request for address change).
Technical team turned up at 10:30 AM.
Wifi finally activated by evening but the voice connection (Airtel landline phone NOT activated). The concerned person informed us that they are not getting access from Airtel backend team so it cannot be installed. The concerned persons left telling us that they will visit on the next day after getting access from the backend team.

4th Sep’21- No communication from Airtel team after more than 48hrs. The wifi connection again stopped working from 11:00 AM. Called customer care & was assured that it will be resolved.

5th Sep’21- Technician visited us at 10:30 AM. The concerned person informed that Airtel Broadband cannot be installed due to technical issue & suggested us to discontinue the connection.

At the end of more than 10 days & having paid advance rental the issue is NOT being resolved.

It has hugely affected the working of our entire family members. Our office work is getting badly affected & both of our kids online school is also disturbed totally.

It is drastically affecting us mentally as the Airtel team seems to give us fasle promises. We feel cheated as our issue has NOT been resolved even after more than 240 hrs of giving the request & getting assurance of resolution within 24 – 48 hrs everytime we are calling / mailing the Airtel team.

Airtel should not treat it’s customers for which we are paying money.

Airtel should give us compensation for the mental distress it has created for us & NOT providing us the desired services for which it has charged from us.
