I have booked airtel xstream fiber. The representative visited me, took my ID card, and photo, a message from airtel received which says the details of the plan with a link for payment. I have paid for 6 months plan, a total of 3245. I was promised nect day installation but even after 8 days, no installation has been done. The representative stopped responding to my calls.

Me too, I have booked airtel xstream fiber on dated 28-08-2022 paid Amount 3532.92/- for 6 Month plan. The Airtel Representative visited me home, took my ID card, and took a photo. They are promised next day installation, but till date after 25 days (almost a month’s time), No installation has been done. The representative stopped responding to my calls.
Same irritating emails and SMS received on a daily basis for the past 25 days.

” Dear Customer,
Warm greetings from Airtel!
I am your Airtel experience advisor.
I am writing in response to your email about a new connection installation for your Airtel caf number 0447725512.
We regret the inconvenience caused due to delay on your request. We would like to inform you that your request is still in progress. It’s the priority of our team to resolve it as early as possible and we will keep you informed on this.
We thank you for your patience on this”
SMS:
” Hi, We’re sorry for the delay caused in your new Airtel Xstream fiber installation. Our team is upgrading the network in your area and will contact you within 72 hrs. It is our priority to bring you on-board with our services”
I appeal to Government of India, concern law enforcement officer/department kindly interrupt in this matter and get my hard earned money with penalty for put me and my family (kids education) mentally harassment past 1 month. suit under Sec 420 of IPC.

As shown above, I signed up for a 6 month Airtel Xstream plan with IP phone and Internet. I told the rep that I am here about 6 months at a time and then go abroad. The rep said after the 6 months, the modem was mine to keep, and I could resume services later. While there were outages every month, in general, I was satisfied. Though the service ended Aug 13, 2024, I had left in June and my equipment was all turned off.
However, Airtel continues to bill me. The contract ended Aug 13, 2024, and they deliberately didn’t disconnect the service in order to rob me. I never used the service through November, and yet, received dunning notices and late fee warnings. I made extraordinary efforts to reach out to XStream, but no one picks up or responds. The stupid AI is a classic example of AI abuse. It offers few options but keeps looping on the same options and neither understands my requests, nor provides a way to communicate the situation in detail to Airtel to reps that can take action. There is no way to include a human in the loop. The Thanks app has no way of communicating any messages to specific groups or people.
On my return in Dec 2024, I switched on the box and found my router was still connecting!
According to them, I have accumulated over 800 in charges and late fees! My December bill was over 500,though Dec is still ongoing, and spurious charges and late fees are added.
How can I get them off my back, get all charges and fees removed, and start afresh with another 6 months of service under the same terms effective from Dec 1, 2024?
