I went to airtel store(madhapur, hyderabad) on 11th january 2022. I have requested for the NEW airtel xstream fibre connection. I also asked the STORE MANAGER(NAVEEN) to check whether the connection is available in my area or not. He said that IT WAS AVAILABLE. So i paid the full amount for 3 months plan (i.e 2882/- rupees) after filling the details. They said the connection will be activated in 24–48 hrs from the billing time. They told their field executive (BALASWAMY) will reach my place and give us connection. After one day, he came to my place and there is no connection in our area and it will take 2–3 days to activate the connection . So we waited for 3 days and still it haven’t activated. (My friends and i had to work on mobile hotspot using data boosters. we have wasted a lot of money from the recharges.) After REPEATED CALLS, they answered the call and said that it will take another week to activate in our as there are some TECHNICAL ISSUES. Regardless we kept on calling them and requested them to complete the process soon. After one week, they said the same that the connection will take another 3–5 days to activate as it will be done by airtel headquarters and the technical team will contact us once the connection is activated. But they didn’t call back but the days are passing. we got frustrated and asked them to refund the money but they told us it will take 7–14 DAYS FOR THE AMOUNT TO BE REFUNDED. We wanted to escalate the issue and asked the field manager for their SUPERIOR OFFICER number. That superior officer is very irresponsible and told us to talk to whoever we paid out for. He said he don’t care about our connection and told us contact the store manager. Again they told us that connection will be activated by END OF THE MONTH for sure. Regardless of what we are feeling, we wanted to give airtel ONE LAST CHANCE. On 31st january, we got a message from airtel saying that our connection has been CANCELLED and refund will be processed in 7–14 business days. We have waited over 20 days for the connection and they directly cancelled the connection. We have called the store manager and field executive and they are not picking up our calls. We have WASTED OUR TIME AND MONEY. Airtel made a FOOL out of us for over 20 days. This is WORST SERVICE we have ever received from the so called BEST SERVICE ‘Airtel’
