Hi Team,

I have been using Airtel number 7387111484 since 2011. I was in 499 plan, before moving to Singapore called 121 customer care executive on 25th Jan 2020 to change plan to 999 and below family numbers to it.

He mentioned that numbers will be added as secondary in 999 plan in 24 hours, then the real problem started all my secondary numbers mentioned above were not able to use internet and even incoming/outgoing calls sometimes.
When we called 121, customer care executive informed that 7387111484 ( Primary ) is under Karnataka circle and all my secondary numbers under Tamilnadu circle.
Why this circle problem was not informed earlier by the so called executive on 25th Jan at the time of changing plan and adding secondary numbers?
After so many calls with 121, one of the executive mentioned that on behalf of me, one of my blood relation can visit Airtel center in Tamilnadu and get primary number ( 7387111484 ) ported from Karnataka to Tamilnadu circle.
So I have sent and SMS to 1900 on 02nd Feb 2020 for porting and got reply ‘Your request to generate the UPC port-out of your airtel no.7387111484 could not be processed as your number is still in the Airtel family plan’. When I tried to remove all secondary number from Airtel app, it gave authorization error, so called international calling number 9910099100 addressed complete problem.
He mentioned that 9677387847 &  9940784708 are successfully removed from family plan and couldn’t remove 8667596933 as it was ported from Jio to Airtel recently and I can remove 8667596933 from family plan after 30 MONTHS.
I can’t wait for another 30 days, get 8667596933 removed from family plan, then port primary number ( 7387111484 ) to Tamilnadu circle and add all 3 numbers under family plan to get things to be normal.
I am sick of explaining the complete history every time I call customer care, resolve it at the earliest. Assign a dedicated executive to look into this case.
Until all things are normal for my primary and secondary numbers, I won’t be paying a single penny to Airtel as I have undergone stress, wasted time and effort. Expecting a prompt and quick solution to get everything sorted out else I have to raise it to next level on consumer forums.
