Hi,
My name is Yatin and my fixed line no. Is 01244068542. I have installed Airtel wifi on 2nd Jul’20. I had a word with Umang/Vinod (9582443922/9810842935) on 1st Jul who came to collect the documents. I opted for Rs.799 plan (Rs.2828 for 3 months) that includes upto 100mbps speed and 150 gb of data. Later that day i got a call from Satish (+911244283666) stating that the techician checked and I can only get upto 40mbps speed as there is no fibre connection. I corrected him while on the call that there is a fibre connection at my place. He got it checked by the technician who was downstairs and confirmed that yes i can get 100 mbps speed. Next day 2 technicians came and installed the wifi and after installing everything they said its only 40mbps. I told them that i have opted for Airtel only because i need 100 mbps speed and nothing less and now they are telling me that it is 40 mbps. They told me you can increase it as it is fibre optic, all you need to do is file a complaint through customer care. I have been calling since yesterday and all i get to hear is to wait for couple of hours and restart the device. Today i had a word with supervisor Mahender who said that he has raised the issed to the technical team and it will be sorted within 8 hours. I have waited again however the speed is still the same. The last person i spoke to today did not even had any clue about the complaint raised by Mahender and was adament stating we cant do anything as we are working from home. This is pathetic service from Airtel and making a fool out of customer. I am writing to you because i need what i have paid for , I have been promised 100 mbps speed which is possible in my area and moreover fibre optic has been used. This needs to be sorted asap otherwise i am taking it to the social media and consumer forum to tell everyone how Airtel is making fool out of people.
