I had applied for an airtel broad band on 21.11.18. The very next day morning at around 8 am one of airtel’s agent called me up and said He is taking up my case. He said i must make the 500 installation charge immediately and send him my id on whatsapp. I specifically asked him if ports are available in c1/vasant kunj,Delhi for connection.
He said 2 are available and i immediately make the payment. I sent him the id proof on whatsapp and made the payment as he asked asap.
Since then he hasnt picked up my calls nor called back. He just gave the number of his agency and thats that. On follow up with agency, they are saying the ports are all full.
These agents do “anything” to complete their quota irrespective of availability of service. This type of “cheap business tactic” by airtel agents must be put to an end by airtel. It’s been over a week and half since I gave my id proofs and made the payment.
On calling the agency they dont respond. Airtel itself surprisingly dont have a help like dedicated to this. call 121 and there is no option for airtel broadband.
