I have recharged an acquaintance’s phone from the Airtel Thanks App since they were not able to recharge themselves. My acquaintance did not receive the recharge and we got really worried and got the recharge done again but still incoming and outgoing calls remained inactive for the acquaintance. On talking to the Airtel Customer Care we got to know that my acquaintance have to download the Airtel Thanks App to claim that recharge. My question is what if someone is in a difficult situation and they do not have the Airtel app. Is Airtel going to provide the same response and will we as consumers have to ask them that why even after recharge we are not able to connect with our acquaintance.
