Dear Sir/Madam,
I have come to know that airtel has shut its 3G services in chennai, Tamilnadu. The network has been showing ‘E’ from yesterday morning and today when I contacted the customer care they told airtel has shut its 3g services.
I had recharged with 249Rs pack for 3g high speed internet at the beginning of this month.I use a 3g handset. Still 15 days are remaining for pack to expire. With stoppage of 3g services the next 15days of 1.5GB data per day is a loss to me because of very poor connectivity until I get a 4G handset. Why was it not informed on before hand about the stoppage of services, I would not have recharged in first place until I had got a 4G handset. What answer airtel is going to give for the data loss I will be bearing the next 15days and other internet dependent works that will be effected because of this sudden without prior notice implementation.
And the customer service is pathetic,
when asked what answer do you give for the data loss that I bear till I switch to 4G and other internet related work backlashes that I have to face, they keep repeating ‘it is for your benefit please upgrade to 4G.
As per conversation with customer service person,
Mrs.Amira – Conversation Reference no: C3GRS20219605550 says that both 2g and 3g has been stopped but Mrs.Syesha another customer service person – Conversation Reference no C3GRS20219609436:says that only 2g and 4g would be available. Whether 2g will be available or not is confusing.Please check the conversation and the way of response is also pathetic.
I would like to have a solution for the loss I will be bearing because of the improper customer care less execution of switch from 3G to 4G without prior information. If no proper response I will be leaving airtel and moving to other networks.
