My SIM got failed suddenly on 23rd May 2023 at around 11:30 pm. When I reach out to store on next day i.e. 24th may 2023, representative gave me a new SIM and told sim will be activated in couple of hours. SIM was not activated even after several hours. upon visiting the store again i found the store that activation got rejected due to mismatch in the document. I went to store next day again they gave another document which also got rejected. Although both have same name. SIM was on my name and i have been using this for more than a decade.
I have talked to customer support several times all in vain. they are saying to visit store.
This was the complaint no given (CFewk2blr20230526008651) for the call made on 26th may 2023 afternoon at around 3:45pm.
When i enquired Store people about the problem, they said they cannot help as activation got failed. This was the error received from store

When I go the store, representative told me to connect with customer care when I reach out to them, they told me that we don’t have an authority to check. It has been 8 days with this problem. When store people contacted from their side they were told to do re swab for this they are getting this error “SS19 SIM Swap Request is already in progress for number 9538xxxxxx”.
I was not able to connect to any one and also not able to do any online payment since my SIM is inactivated. I want Airtel to compensate for the damages caused.
Please do the necessary action on it.
