I have been a very long user of Airtel for about 10 years. I really had a very good feedback about the network. But I am really not satisfied with the service provided by Airtel store people at Mylapore, Chennai. I decided to convert my prepaid to postpaid network on the belief and comfortable network that I had these days. So i investigated about the plan and gave my request at the Airtel store at Mylapore on 9/07/2019.
Store people processed my request and they provided me a new sim card and insisted to insert the SIM on the next day morning. And the next day(10/07/2019) I got my old SIM deactivated, and while inserting the new SIM, it was found to be defective as it didnt detect in my mobile. Hence I called the person at store in Mylapore for the help. I also went directly to resolve it. They were not aware about the procedure to be done for the case and hence prolonged the situation and told me to wait till 12/7/2019 and assured that problem will be resolved. Hence i waited and later on after frequent calls and visits, they gave me an excuse to wait some more time for the TV to my alternative number. Finally i got the sim activated by attending the TV to my alternate number on 13/7/2019. I couldnt contact any of them on Sunday.
Then Yesterday(15/7/2019) at the earliest at 11am I went to the same store at Mylapore and asked them to provide a duplicate sim, as it has been activated. Now after getting all confirmation to my alternate number, I inserted the new SIM and got frustrated as i could not notice any network in airtel. I am frequently calling the person Mr. Sabari who was responsible and he is not even responding back to me. Got fed up and putting up this mail.
It has been almost a week that I have lost my business and my customer were unable to contact me. Also i couldnt even do any bank transaction or email log in without the number. It has been a very huge loss for me due your inefficient service people. I definitely need them to compensate for my losses. I am very much dissappointed with Airtel Service. And i cannot spend my money to have frequent visits to the store for the problem that is at their side.
Later After complaining to nodal officer, I received a call from them stating that the are resolving the issue and asked me to wait for another 24 hours. Now it has crossed 24 hours and i am still facing the problem and not getting and replies or solution from the Airtel service.
