Hi Team,

I’m requesting to file a complaint as my Airtel SIM card stopped working on 29th Mar which was during the lockdown for Corona Virus. I was not able to use any online applications as for every transaction they were sharing OTP to the AIRTEL number and my airtel sim stopped working. I was not able to use Paytm, Phonepay, ay online money transfer from ICICI or HDFC bank as they were sending OTP request on my mobile number.

I called Airtel team and informed them about all situation and told them I can understand the situation of lockdown and ut I’m not able to do any transactions due to OTP. Even the Airtel application was asking me for OTP.

I requested the airtel team to do any of the below-mentioned options.

1::  Provide me a new SIM as all transactions are pending and affecting me daily.

2:: Extend my plan for 10-12 days because I’m not able to use the Internet for those days and affecting me.

 

In all options, Airtel did not accept any options and all cases End-customer is suffering.

I have called there customer care many times and explained this issue as this is a genuine issue and rare/true issue.

So, team, I request you to take action on these types of firms which are only taking money from end-users and providing zero support to them.

    Sorry to hear about your issue.
    It seems I am not alone. Even I am suffering from the same issue from 09/Apr onwards.
    I have repeatedly tried to report the issue but somehow the system does not allow me to log in any complaint.
