I have been using a phone number for over 12 years now. I recently moved to a different country for a year due to work. just after 3 months of moving my sim card stopped working, I am unable to receive any text messages which is causing a lot of issues. Airtel continues to take the monthly rent however they are not willing to resolve the issue.
My brother, In India, approached Airtel local office and was asked to submit a lot of documents like Visa copies, residence permit for where I am currently staying , photos , address proof etc. It’s been almost two months and there is no development.
I either want the issue to be resolved on the existing sim card or get a new sim card(my name or a family member as I can’t be present in person).
This has caused a lot of stress already. I need the issue to be resolved as a matter of urgency.
