The Airtel Thanks App allows recharge of pre-paid plans before end of validity date.
As per my understanding, the advance recharge done sits in queue and activated on the date
the current validity expires. This was confirmed by the airtel store personnel also.

However, the 379 pre-paid pack contains 6 GB data bundled into the plan. When we carry out the recharge, the plan sits in queue as mentioned, BUT, the data gets exhausted with immediate effect. The existing data balance is kept on hold.

Due to this if we have recharged data pack for say 20 GB and validity expires on say 24 Sep 2021, AND we recharge the 379 plan before Sep 24, say 05 sep 2021, the 6 GB data which is
part of 379 plan should start getting consumed post validity period, i.e. post 24 Sep 2021 in this case. This is not happening. Airtel does not acknowledge this and as customer, I stand to
lose the data balance which I am entitled to use till Sep 24 validity date. Also, the 6 GB data for the newly recharged plan gets consumed, thus, leaving me with no data post validity period, i.e. 24 Sep 2021. The plan is active and calls / sms will work till new validity, i.e. 84 days post 24 Sep, BUT data balance is ZERO
