I am using Airtel Number 8826619007 since 2018 Jan. I opted for Family plan where I availed another addon number with billing amount 799+ GST. I requested to discontinue this number in Jan 19 through Customer Care – Airtel and every month they kept on assuring me that I will not receive 799 + GST invoice and my plan will change to 449 +GST. I didn’t paid May bill because this kept on happening for 5 continuous months and Airtel never changed plan.
Airtel barred out going and internet services in June and in July and again send me an invoice including June-July period when all the services were already barred. I am writing to them for last 7 months and no solution provided to me. till today I am receiving mails and calls saying that I have to pay entire amount else they will not activate my number.
I don’t understand what is my fault and why I have to face humiliation when Airtel people not ready to give any solution and blackmailing me that number will be allotted to someone else and I have to bear much higher cost if I don’t pay.
Please help. this is my mobile number and I have full rights to keep it with me. Please help.
