Text of Complaint by Abhinav Raj:

  • I am staying in UAE. I was subscribed to international roaming pack in the month of September which provides 500 min outgoing/incoming to India with 5GB data. We received message on 24 Oct saying that our 5 GB data pack (which was part of IR pack) has been exhausted, this itself prove that our pack was actually active. But due to system issue the bill got generated without the IR pack and all our calls were charged as per international ISD charges and ended up with a bill of 7k sent by Airtel. When we complaint so Airtel representative explained that our IR pack was not auto renewed. We have been using this IR pack and every time it gets auto renewed. There was no information/update/message sent to us with regard to deactivation of the pack also. This is clearly a system issue and ever since then for more than 1.5 months we are writing mails and continuosly following up with Airtel but no resolution. Now again we received a bill of another 7k totalling to 14k. This issue of sending overcharged bill is very long pending issue from Airtel side and every month for past one year I am suffering due to this. Every month I have to send them a mail to rectify the excess amount charged and send the revised amount. This time they are not bothered as the amount seems to be high. I am running a play school in India and since I cannot take calls/receive calls, my business is severely affected and unable to run it. Please help me to get this sorted out.

Demand:-. As I have been severely affected financially and mentally as issue was not resolved by Airtel even after several complaints, hence Airtel has to take responsibility for the same and waive off my entire bill amount urgently. Post that we will activate the IR pack again and start paying the bill thereafter.
