On 16th-Apr’19, I visited Airtel Store situated in Sahakara Nagar, Bengaluru to port my number from Idea to Airtel and submitted all required documents requested.
On 18th-Apr’19, I got the message from Airtel, that your service has been reset, restart your phone and do the tele-verification to activate your SIM.
From that time, I am not getting any Network in my Airtel issued SIM, and I am totally helpless here. It’s been 10 days, I have called more than 20 times to CC, visited Airtel stores and got N number calls from their senior executives, but everyone has the same answer, ‘Sorry for the inconvenience caused, we are looking into it, give us more time’.
As I have already made the mistake of porting my Number to Airtel, apart from giving time, I have no option, but question is, DO THEY ACTUALLY AWARE OF PROBLEM??… The answer is big NOOOOOO. Every executive working for Airtel is just replying with scripted messages and doing their work with ‘Hit and Trial’ method:
- Re-start your phone – did more than 100 times I guess.
- Change your SIM position – did this also(slot 1/2 both)
- Select Manual Network – This one also tried.
- We left with No options, visit near Airtel Store, will issue a new SIM – This also I did, they issued the new SIM but still, there is no network in the SIM.
It’s been 10 days, I am doing NO work rather than requesting to enable the Network. I am not sure How many people have tried to contact me in the past days, and How many job opportunities have lost because of AIRTEL. I know their Network is good but would like to say, AIRTEL HAVE VERY PATHETIC SERVICE.
This is the last forum, where I can highlight my problem but have very minimal hope from Airtel people now.
