I ported my jio number to Airtel in Nov 2022 after paying all oustanding bills. I was using airtel services without problem. On 15h Mar I have received one msg from airtel that your oustanding amount with jio is pending pls clear them by 30th Mar else services will be discontinued. I made payment on 16th Mar but my numbers services were discontinued on 16th Mar 9pm by another msg that your numbers services are now permanently discontinued. I was advised ro pay oustanding dues of jio and visit nearest airtel store. When I visited airtel store 4-5 times they said that your number is permanently discontinued so we can’t help you. Go to DOT office mumbai and file complain to getting back your number as the number is sent back to original operator which is aircel. Now aircel is not in operation in India.
I am just roaming here and there but not getting any resolution.
