Text of Complaint by Neha Agarwal:

On 17th May I requested for new broadband connection in Bangalore. On the same day Airtel agent came and took my Aadhaar card photocopy for verification. He gave me Airtel link on which I made advance payment for 3 months of ₹3536. CAF number is eCAF 0801414167 ( fixed line 08041469572) . On the same day Airtel technician came and said that because of fall sealing in house, we need to break the structure/fall sealing on which we refused to do any structural damage to house. And he said he can initiate refund for that, hence he initiated refund on the same day. Since 7 months I have sent more than 100 emails to Airtel for refund. Every time either airtel ask for bank statements and proof( which I provided) or open a new request and ask me to wait for a week and then close it on their own without resolving. Airtel consumer service also does the same this. I have proof from Airtel saying I have made the payment to them and my account is showing an excess of Rs 3536. But still they are not paying. Just opening new request and ask me to wait is what they are doing. That’s totally a fraud. If we don’t pay Airtel bill on time, there are so big late fee charges and 1000 reminders. Now what if Airtel has to refund. That is how Airtel makes money.
