My Mobile Number :- 9740728532.

My plan was 99Rs in the month February 2020, called up customer care for adding data packs. They had added two data packs which sum up for 35GB and informed calls which are available can be consumed after that tariff rates applicable. No proper details were available in the Airtel thanks app/online. I got a bill of 1348.09 Rs for the month of February.

Tried reaching customer care and no luck on that. Repeatedly got messaged saying use Airtel thanks app, where no details are found and its was just Junk app. Raised complaints from the app. No resolution on it and more over they are closed after 7 days.

Tried to change the plan in March, but no option was available. got Rs 763.9 as bill for the month of March.

For the month of May it was 440Rs.

Misleading by customer care:-

–>In the month of Feb I was informed I can Utilise the minutes which were available.mBut not informed of any roaming charges. Due to that I was charged 1348 Rs. If was informed the same i would have changed my plan from 99rs to appropiate one.

–> Tried reaching customer care to raise the complaint and no customer service representative was available to change the plan and airtel thanks app was just junk. not having all functionalities enabled. Got a bill of Rs 769.3. When called up luckily got connected to them and he informed like… 1) I cant change my plan by online or by app. Only they can change it or my employer should drop them mail. this was no where mentioned and informed to me. As a resolution he said 300Rs would be waived off and will be adjusted in the next month bill.

–>In the next month of May, I was able to change the plan in airtel thanks app from 99Rs to 199Rs.

–>I was charged ISD calls, which I never made.

BottomLine :-

till the month of April my plan was 99Rs with 2 data packs but was charged 1348(Feb)+763(March)+440(April). (total 2551Rs) which is annoying and purely due to misguiding the customer.

Not sure a person with a plan of 99Rs was charged 2551. Is it good on the part of airtel ?? do they follow any ethics and business standards.

They keep on arguing that everything is as per the tariff and bill plan. if so why customer care representatives were not available. Only IVR repeated voice and messages to use app.

Their employees are not trained properly and due to that customer is facing issues.

Due a person can afford to pay such bill when his plan is just 99Rs ??
