Hi
On 13th oct 2020 i have shared my personal details to madhu from airtel annanagar madurai and did the online payment towards getting a new broadband connection.
She told that the new connection is possible at my address and was chasing me for new connection and hence i agreed to do the paymentd and paid it.
After one week after several chase ups ,the airtel sent one SMS that they will not be able to provide new connection to my address.
When i asked for the refund they are asking me to provide a cancelled cheque without which they are denying to refund.
Its all their mistake that they didnt check the feasibility of new connection and now bothering me.
What if a person do not have a cheque book?
Which banking law says that i need to produce a cheque for refund?
Why airtel is not refunding the amount to my bank account automatically..it should have been reversed immediately and they should have taken the responsibility to return it immediately ..
The delay and the poor response from airtel team is highly harassing me.
