I am an Airtel postpaid customer, I landed on USA on 12th April 2022. I approached Airtel to activate international roaming facility well in advance for my travel. They guided me to take online international roaming pack for Rs. 3999/- and said it will be activated as soon as I land on my destination country. Actually, for post paid customers, international roaming services activates at free of cost which I came to know later through another Airtel customer executive.
After landing on my international roaming was not activated automatically and immediately. And till now the service disconnects often.
I raised my complaint to Airtel on 14th April and till now the services are interrupted but they have charged me the bill for Rs. 3999/- + taxes.
I requested Airtel to waive this service fee , but they are insisting me to pay the full amount for unusable service.
