I did an international roaming pack recharge on my husband’s phone number. The amount paid was Rs 3997. One recharge did not go through. Hence I tried again. After a few hrs, I got to know that both the recharges got accepted. and 2 payments were deducted. I spoke to customer care on Nov 26th for reversal of one charge. They registered a complain and said that the charge will be reversed by Dec 6th. on Nov 30th midnight, they removed both the international packs activated on the number thereby leaving my husband without a phone in China. Noone in Airtel is taking ownership of resolving this. With the onset of Covid third wave, I am extremely worried about my husband who doesn’t have any means of communication in a foreign land.
