Hi All,
My name is Mona Kanjilal and I am writing this mail on behalf of my mother Chandra Kanjilal. In March 2021 my mother subscribed to internet service of Airtel . The service was very poor. Most of the time there was no internet connection. Hence she finally requested Airtel to disconnect the internet service. The service was disconnected on June 2, 2021. I also received a confirmation e-mail on the same. Please see attached the confirmation mail which clearly says:
Dear Chandra Kanjilal,
Greetings from Airtel!
This is in reference to your email requesting to stop airtel services for your airtel account number 7041155479.
As discussed with you on your mobile number 98********, I have registered your cancellation request with the reference number 131890032.
Your services are expected to be restricted by 7 days.
Monthly rental on your account will not be charged from the date deactivation request is raised, i.e from 02-06-2021.
Further, the final bill will be generated on 03-06-2021. Rental applicable will be calculated on prorate basis.
Post final disconnection our team will approach you for CPE recovery. Hence, request you to please handover the router to our team.
The team came the same week and collected the modem. We also paid the money outstanding till 3rd June 2021. However since then she is being harassed. The Airtel people are constantly calling her and asking her to pay the amount due from June till date. They are calling ten times a day and harassing my mother. Point is we paid all dues and disconnected the service as of June 2, 2021. Also we got a confirmation mail from Airtel on the same. Then why should we pay? We need help. We cant be harassed regularly by Airtel service when it is even not our fault.
