Text of Complaint by Dipti Agarwal:
My Airtel aim stopped working at 1:30pm yesterday. Airtel customer care asked me to visit the store and collect another sim with id proof and photograph. I visited the store at 5 pm and received a new sim at 5:30 pm. I was confirmed that the new sim will start working in two hours time. I tried checking with airtel after 4 hours and the cc again confirmed that sim takes 4 hours to get activated. Its 5pm today and my sim had still not been activated. I have spoken to customer care of airtel almost 10 times since yesterday and I am getting the same response that we are looking into the issue. I stay aloan in Hyderabad and is totally disconnected due to inactive sim. The moving deadlines from airtel has actually become very harassing for me. Please look into this and provide justice. Service providers should also have a penalty imposed on them for this ignorance towards critical customer issue. I seek penalty from airtel for loss of my work and disconnectivity with my family and friends for more than 24 hours. Please provide justice.
