Hi Sir, I am an Airtel broadband user and I was under 3 months data plan and I needed to suspend my connection as I traveled to my home town because of this COVID pandemic. I have dropped an email to airtel customer care requesting support(to suspend connection) as I could not reach them over call, no response came back and they started generating bills and when they first called for overdue bill I have clearly told them I am not in Bangalore and I want to suspend the connection till I get back. Once in a week and I get a call from them asking to pay the bill and the connection is still not suspended. It is a prepaid connection and how come it is generating bills and without any money on the account how come they can activate my plan. Today as in June 20, 2020 Saturday around 8:45 AM I got a call from Airtel executive asking to pay nearly 2000 Rs. and he did not know what is my current plan that i am being charged and no details he just just want me to pay the bill that I have not used. There are many ways to pay bills online but they will not allow to suspend or discontinue the service online.
