Text of Complaint by Shantanu Kumar:

Hii there,
I applied for the broadband connection in the Muzaffarpur area I got a message from airtel that Mr. Dhiraj will call you and he did call me and he said he will visit at my location and he came tomorrow after visiting in my area he was in a bit doubt connection will be possible or not as the FAT box was almost 250meters away from my house Mr. Dhiraj said he will see. After some days he call me and said to me that he will take the booking but he will take 5-10 days to install the broadband and I agreed he came to my house again on 26 Oct 2021 and did the booking and I got the message for the payment off Rs2829/- but Mr. Dhiraj said to me that don’t pay I will pay if KYC will be accepted by the airtel then you can send me the money but I refused but anyhow he managed me to convince by saying if by any chance KYC will be cancelled it will problem to get a refund so I will pay so you don’t have to face any issue and if the KYC will be accepted you can send me the money I agreed and he paid in the front of me and he leaves after a couple of hours he messaged me that KYC is done and your booking is accepted now you can pay me and I paid him Rs2829 and he told me that he will come with the technician on Friday(29 Oct 2021).On 29th Oct I messaged him that will you come and he said not today I will take some time and I said ok take your time but on 30th of oct he call me and said to me that my house a bit far from the FAT box and airtel covers only for 100-150meters so you have to pay extra for the wire Rs10/meter wire and I agreed and I paid him 1500 and he said me that he will come tomorrow (31st Oct) but he didn’t come then I call him on 2nd of November and he said to that wait till 5th of November I will confirm you that the connection is possible or not then I waited till 5th of November on 5th of November I call him he said to me that he will come at home at 12noon but he didn’t come then I messaged him he said to me that he will come by 4 pm but again he didn’t come and I got frustrated and I messaged him on 5th of November please cancel my booking and give back my Rs1500 for wire and he agreed and I waited for 1-2 days on 7th of November i said messaged him again that i have given you plenty of time can you install the broadband and he said to me ok wait I waited till 12th of November but i got no response so i call him he said to me that technician is not confirming anything then i said it’s ok no problem just cancel the booking and give back me all the money he said to me ok after that everyday i messaged him please return my money but he always makes excuse today i will give your money tomorrow for sure he keeps making excuses till 27th of november and i got frustrated and we had heated argument after than he send me 1000 on 29th of november and 500 on 7th of november but he is not giving me the Rs2830 till now he is saying that he haven’t got the refund from the airtel Please help me please
