A new Airtel DTH (Dish TV) connection was set up at our Borivali Mumbai residence on 1st July and unfortunately we paid for the entire year without checking the feedback on Airtel’s PATHETIC SERVICES WHICH INCLUDES CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We took the Mega HD pack of 144 channels and from Day 1 we are not able to see the channels which we paid for. We raised several complaints, the technician visited our house twice and instead of providing a solution he told us that this problem cannot be resolved by him and we need to get in touch with customer service again. We requested him to talk to customer service directly as they told us that the technician will be resolving the issue, but he was not ready to do so. Instead he was asking us to get in touch with some retailer in Borivali who had done our recharge. We refused as we had contacted the customer service and not the retailer.
Now the blame game started between the technician and the customer service and no one resolved our problem. So we raised a permanent disconnection request on 3rd July and were told that their SLA is of 3 days to close the request, though our money was still being cut despite not using Airtel since we were not able to see the channels.
WE HAVE CALL RECORDINGS OF ALL THE CALLS MADE TO CUSTOMER CARE, THE REPRESENTATIVES ARE ARROGANT AND INSENSITIVE. THEY ONLY HAVE A SCRIPT WHICH SAYS “app NISCHINT RAHIYE AUR HUM MAAFI CHAHTE HAIN” BUT NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.
Every time we called we were told that we will get our refund back and back-end team will let us know the amount which will be refunded.
However on 5th July, a supervisor named Mohd Salim from the Delhi Branch told us that we will not receive our refund since its a new connection, we have to wait till the connection is 1 year old. We were not told about this when getting the new connection nor we have signed any consent form accepting these terms and conditions so how the hell Airtel can force us to keep the connection or not give our hard earned money. WE HAVE CALL RECORDING FOR THE SAME.
Salim was not ready to accept our request and till date the request is kept open, even the engineer has not visited our home since 3rd July. We have been calling everyday, today (7th July) when we called again some lady named Harpreet some supervisor in an unknown branch told us that we if we disconnect we will get our refund back in 45 days, Sooooooooooooo Much of confusion in Airtel.
We have also written to the PMO office and Rahul Gandhi on twitter, because as per our Prime Minister he had said “NA MEIN KHAUNGA AUR NA KHANE DUNGA” if that’s the case then why corporates like Airtel our given free hand to loot public money and why no action has been taken.
Airtel needs to learn from TATA how to handle their customers. We regret that we decided to shift from TATA to PATHETIC AIRTEL.
But we will not let go our money like that, if we have voted for Narendra Modi then how come he is allowing such companies to loot money from the public.
OR I BELIEVE IT WAS JUST AN ELECTION SLOGAN OF “NA KHANEDUNGA”
