Text of Complaint by Suranjika Satpathy:

We applied for a airtel xtreme connection on 2nd June 2022 (Bangalore). The airtel salesman shared a link and asked to pay 1768 for a 499 plan and 40mbps connection. The amount 1768 included installation fee as well. We paid the amount then and there and was assured that the connection will be provided within a 24 hr span. On 3rd we came to know that the connection could not be provided because in our area the airtel xtreme is not available. So we requested for a refund. On 10th we received an amount of 1180. The rest amount was told that it will be refunded within 5 days. Till now I didn’t receive any amount from airtel and despite calling them now they are saying that they don’t have any information about this please write an email to 121@airtel.com mentioning the harassment caused. I have the attached the transaction of the amount paid and received. Please check the particulars. I don’t care if I don’t get the refund it’s a very nominal charge, but I think people should know how these big companies are fooling and looting us without even providing any services for which we have paid our hard earned money. While paying the money they didn’t gave a thought whether the connection was even available in the area. After the payment they come to know connection is not available and then they don’t even do the full refund. Also from there 121@airtel.com, there is no reply till now.
