Text of Complaint by Arun:

Hi Team,

As per my current plan with Airtel, I have a 7.5GB mobile data on a monthly basis.

All was working fine till end of April, however from May is is showing as “0” as my balance. When i spoke to the team, i got a reply that i have used it and should wait for next month cycle.

This month cycle started on the 11th of May and it was still showing as “0”.  took scrnshots and wrote an email to Airtel. After 3 days of discussion, they replied back saying i have consumed my data and should wait for next cycle.

I asked them t prove it with data but no answer from the CRM. If a daily usage of my data is taken and shared, it will help everybody to  understand the issue.

Every time i talk to a representative, they force me to move to a latest plan as mine is very old. I strongly belive that Airtel has taken data out of my current plan and trying to push me to a new plan which is expensive.

This is an inappropriate behaviour. I have been with Airtel for 5 years, now they are suddenly doing this to move me to a higher plan by indirectly removng my data.

If i am wrong, why wouldn’t airtel not share my data usage for this May2019 cycle.

I am tired of writing emails and taking to airtel team which has been giving me a standard reply.

I hope this time atleast somebody will call m with data in their hand to help me undersatnd and prove me wrong.

Else I am planning to take this up with Mr. Sureshkumar B (Appellate), TRAI (ap@trai.gov.in), Vittal@in.airtel.com, sbm@bharti.com, ceo.direct@bharti.com.

Regards,

Arun
